Depending on the type and complexity of your matter, Michael Faltermaier Lawyers offer a variety of different payment arrangements.
We offer the following fee options to our client, depending on the complexity of you matter:
No win, No Fee (Personal Injury Only)
A popular Alternative to being charged on an hourly rate, is the certainty of one price, being a fixed fee. This means that your bill is capped at the amount - no nasty surprises.
The Fixed fee means that all of our operating costs are included in your fixed fee (Including, Photocopying, faxes, emails and telephone calls.) A fixed fee also means that you are not charged each minute of work that your lawyer spends on preparing documents, letters or spends on the phone.
Further, what our clients like most about the fixed fee, is that if your bill does not reach the capped amount, you will receive the remaining money back!
The No Win, No Fee arrangement is often available to all areas of compensation law (including personal injury, work compensation, motor vehicle accident compensation, TAC Claims, medical negligence and asbestos related diseases).
The No Win, No Fee arrangement means that if your claim is unsuccessful, that you will not be charged any legal fees.
Michael Faltermaier Lawyers can also apply for litigation funding for you in both family law and personal injury matters.
This Funding is a loan that you do not have to repay whilst your matter is still ongoing.
Once your matter is finished, the loan is paid out of your settlement.
For the more complicated matters, our legal fees are charged on an hourly rate. The hourly rate will depend on whether you have a junior or senior member of our team working on your matter.
Further, the amount of time spent on your matter will also contribute to the cost of your legal fees. These fees are outlined in our Costs Agreement & Disclosure Statement.
